This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the planning and implementation of acquisition and divestiture activities.
• Manage integration and separation initiatives across various functional teams.
• Create and uphold integration and separation strategies, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Organize, implement, and assess integrations to meet deal-model targets and key milestones.
• Monitor milestones, identify risks, dependencies, issues, and escalation requirements.
• Assist in governance procedures, steering committees, and leadership across functional/workstreams.
• Build relationships with business and functional teams to formulate execution strategies and track interdependencies.
• Ensure accountability for achieving milestones while providing process tools, templates, and guidance.
• Draft communications for stakeholders and prepare materials for functional and executive leadership.
• Create content for governance evaluations, steering committees, and executive briefings.
• Monitor KPIs and milestones while aiding in quarterly executive progress updates.
• Participate in integration post-mortems and integrate lessons learned into playbooks and processes.
• Assist with divestiture and separation planning, Transitional Service Agreements, exit processes, and schedules.
• Collaborate with Strategy & Corporate Development on inorganic growth strategies.
• Refine M&A execution methodologies, tools, templates, and training resources.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Over 5 years of overall professional experience in the healthcare sector or related fields.
• Experience in Commercial Strategy, Corporate Development, or Transformations.
• Demonstrated success in supporting intricate, cross-functional projects in a global context.
• Exceptional project/program management, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• An advanced degree, such as an MBA or in a related discipline, may enhance success.
• Comprehensive understanding of the M&A/divestiture processes and principles in business, finance, accounting, legal, and taxation.
• Background in Strategic Consulting may further contribute to success.
• Proven experience managing complex deals and investments may bolster success.
• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or other regulated sectors may enhance success.
• Familiarity with Solventum's business or market areas may provide an advantage.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in presenting to executives.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.
