Manager – PE Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement innovative analytics solutions that leverage data to drive performance insights during transformational events such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, and exit strategies.

• Utilize accounting and financial due diligence expertise to reconcile transaction-level data, generating credible and auditable performance metrics.

• Offer strategic advice to corporate leaders, private equity executives, strategists, operating officers, managing directors, CFOs, and corporate development professionals.

• Conduct data extraction, transformation, modeling, visualization, benchmarking, as well as descriptive and predictive analyses.

• Create and deploy firm-approved AI-driven solutions, ensuring compliance with data protection laws, intellectual property rights, and professional standards.

• Keep abreast of emerging AI technologies and techniques, identifying compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and improve internal processes.

• Lead high-performing teams within data analytics, consulting, and/or private equity sectors.

• Foster new client relationships while strengthening existing ones.

• Engage clients through interviews to evaluate current and future state gaps and determine root causes.

• Assist clients in navigating analytics strategy, roadmaps, and implementation initiatives.

• Contribute to thought leadership and the development of intellectual capital.

• Enhance practice through continuous improvement initiatives.

• Mentor, coach, and develop team members, including conducting performance reviews and providing feedback.

• Streamline client processes from data extraction and preparation to reporting through automation.

• Support forecasting and predictive analytics models.

• Facilitate data-driven management discussions and convert complex findings into strategic recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience and proven abilities with data processing tools such as Alteryx, PowerQuery, Excel, SQL, and Python.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent platforms.

• Strong business acumen paired with critical thinking capabilities.

• Background in SaaS, Industrial Manufacturing, Healthcare, Consumer Products, Retail, and/or Professional Services sectors.

• Knowledge of analytics related to ARR cube and snowball, revenue/margin and price-volume, and/or cash collections waterfall.

• Experience in functional areas including supply chain, operations, and corporate finance.

• Proficiency in advanced analytical methods, such as statistical pricing studies, customer lifetime value analyses, customer retention and persistency analyses, geospatial analyses, and statistical clustering analyses.

• Demonstrated capability to responsibly explore and adopt AI tools approved by the firm.

• Willingness to learn and apply emerging technologies such as AI and automation in accordance with firm policies and client standards.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and present effectively to both internal teams and external clients.

• Proven interest in consulting with experience in a dynamic mergers and acquisitions environment.

• Flexibility and readiness to travel as needed.

• Strong academic background, including relevant coursework for the position.

• Experience in mentoring junior team members and aiding project teams in resolving complex and multifaceted challenges.

• Background in business integrations, divestitures, or carve-outs, including both quantitative and qualitative analysis.

• Transactional experience focused on quality of earnings, net working capital, and cash flows.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial due diligence for transaction services and data analytics.
