Manager, Ops Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive essential quality, inventory, and other critical metrics throughout the site by leveraging continuous improvement tools and methodologies.

• Coordinate, assess, and oversee work instructions with supervisors and associates in specified areas of responsibility; guide associates to safely and efficiently fulfill daily tasks.

• Evaluate training status within the facility/department and arrange training according to established frequency; ensure training requirements are fulfilled promptly.

• Draft specifications for new developments and system enhancements.

• Analyze client needs, assess fit and customizations, create proposals, compile supporting data for cost estimates, and showcase RXO’s capabilities and solutions to potential clients.

• Act as project manager for system implementations and upgrades, providing ongoing support as necessary.

• Assist with implementations by delivering documented plans, configuring systems, training users, and offering post-implementation support.

• Conduct process and data modeling.

• Generate project ideas and solutions; implement changes within and across departments.

• Utilize and uphold warehouse management system processes to ensure appropriate work documents and outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of relevant work experience.

• Proven experience leading value stream assessments and Lean improvement events (Kaizen events).

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work or military experience.

• Proficiency with statistical software, process mapping/modeling, and prediction modeling tools (e.g., Crystal Ball).

• Background in distribution and e-commerce, with extensive use of continuous process improvement methodologies.

• Experience in enhancing business processes.

• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively at all organizational levels; strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Results-oriented work style; highly organized with a strong sense of urgency and ability to navigate ambiguity.

• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and foster teamwork in achieving goals and objectives.

• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug test if required following a conditional offer.
