This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and cultivate the Benefit Plan Administration team across various lines of business.
• Ensure precise and uniform programming of benefit plans.
• Oversee team performance, project timelines, and adherence to deadlines.
• Attain operational objectives, performance commitments, and service level agreements.
• Evaluate cross-functional impacts utilizing departmental workflow expertise.
• Collaborate with customers, members, providers, and both internal and external stakeholders to address escalated issues.
• Manage employee performance through scorecards, metrics, feedback, coaching, guidance, and development.
• Lead organizational data validation initiatives that support system enhancements and release updates.
• Supervise project management, programming, testing, and documentation efforts.
• Schedule staff, oversee capacity, and coordinate workflow effectively.
• Develop and document workflows, system requirements, impact analyses, system designs, process analyses, and testing protocols.
• Identify reporting needs, document reporting specifications, and conduct testing of new reports prior to production implementation.
• Create and sustain functionality in ticketing systems, benefit landscapes, and workflows.
• Propose and implement solutions while assessing outcomes.
• Collaborate with client-facing teams to address concerns and implement enhancement opportunities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience.
• High school diploma from an accredited institution or equivalent GED is required.
• 6 years of experience in operations management, pharmacy benefit management, healthcare, insurance, retail, analytics, or operational compliance.
• 2 years of experience in leadership or people management.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring a work visa or residency sponsorship.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to lead teams through multiple concurrent projects while adhering to strict timelines, SLAs, and performance commitments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and business systems utilized for benefit configuration.
• Ability to convert data into actionable insights.
• Skills in developing and implementing process enhancements.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and facilitation abilities.
• Competence in preparing and delivering documentation, reporting, and audit responses.
