This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop, implement, validate, and continually enhance a process-oriented quality management system.
• Establish and track quality objectives.
• Aid in, finalize, and supervise root cause analyses and corrective measures.
• Assist with, complete, and oversee the formulation and monitoring of improvement plans.
• Analyze performance data to uncover opportunities for improvement.
• Create, execute, and oversee processes for gauging customer satisfaction.
• Support risk assessments and supervise mitigation strategies.
• Lead and manage the Enterprise Business Continuity Program, which includes business impact assessments, continuity planning, exercise coordination, remediation tracking, and executive reporting.
• Oversee the preparation, execution, reporting, and follow-up of Quality Management Reviews.
• Direct Quality digital projects and continuous improvement initiatives, encompassing requirement collection, stakeholder alignment, project planning, implementation support, adoption activities, and benefit tracking.
• Act as the primary contact for external QMS certification organizations.
• Assist operational process improvement projects through mapping/modeling, design, analysis, performance monitoring, enhancement, and QMS integration.
• Provide clear guidance, establish measurable objectives, and ensure accountability among team members.
• Mentor, develop, and support team members through constructive feedback, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
• Cultivate a high-performing, inclusive team culture that aligns with the company's values and business goals.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in healthcare, science, engineering, or a related field.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in developing, implementing, certifying, and continuously enhancing process-oriented quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
• Experience in operational process improvement initiatives, preferably within a patient-centered healthcare setting, is advantageous.
• Familiarity with GMP and GVP-regulated environments.
• Proven ability to apply quality system requirements to operational processes.
• Knowledge of pharmacy practices, infusion clinics, patient support programs, or pharmaceutical wholesale operations is beneficial.
• Completion of an Exemplar Global or IRCA-approved lead QMS auditor course is preferred.
• Possession of lead QMS auditor certification or a willingness to obtain it is an asset.
• Understanding of provincial pharmacy college and Health Canada regulations relevant to the pharmaceutical supply chain is a plus.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Bilingualism in French and English may be necessary based on the role, location, and organizational requirements.
