Manager, Network Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Direct a technical operations team that operates around the clock, ensuring the maintenance of extensive network infrastructure.

• Address intricate engineering challenges.

• Oversee the escalation of issues.

• Uphold essential operational processes.

• Troubleshoot hardware issues.

• Coordinate repair efforts.

• Manage inventory of assets.

• Collaborate with datacenter personnel.

• Create, document, enhance, and uphold operational policies, procedures, and escalation protocols.

• Design, develop, and sustain alerts and run books to enhance fault detection and operational transparency.

• Assess the technical abilities of the maintenance team.

• Identify training requirements and organize training sessions for the team.

• Assist in the resolution of critical technical incidents.

• Engage with field technicians, internal teams, and external partners on a global scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of relevant experience.

• A Bachelor’s degree.

• Background in internet infrastructure settings, including routing and access networks.

• Proven experience in managing technical teams, encompassing remote global teams.

• Ability to build effective relationships with teams, service providers, and partners.

• Familiarity with data center portals and Network Operations Center (NOC) environments.

• Strong communication abilities.
