Manager – Manufacturing Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Build and nurture robust working relationships with designated manufacturing sites, gaining insights into their priorities, culture, technological environments, operational processes, and planned initiatives.

• Convert cybersecurity requirements into actionable implementation plans at the site level.

• Oversee the implementation and integration of cybersecurity controls within manufacturing and operational technology environments.

• Manage cybersecurity projects and delivery efforts, coordinating with technical resources, stakeholders, vendors, Cybersecurity teams, and delivery partners.

• Create and sustain site cybersecurity delivery roadmaps.

• Evaluate site readiness and pinpoint gaps, dependencies, and technical constraints in the OT network architecture.

• Collaborate on remediation strategies with Manufacturing, Engineering, IT, Global Security, and other stakeholders.

• Conduct cybersecurity assessments of manufacturing technology projects and engineering plans.

• Propel the maturation and adoption of cybersecurity capabilities through processes, documentation, metrics, support models, and stakeholder expectations.

• Oversee the transition of matured capabilities to operational teams, including documentation, knowledge transfer, support processes, and escalation pathways.

• Operate and enhance selected manufacturing cybersecurity capabilities and services on a continuous basis.

• Convey site priorities, implementation hurdles, technological changes, and cybersecurity recommendations effectively.

• Formulate cybersecurity countermeasures and risk mitigation strategies.

• Maintain communication channels with stakeholders and foster cross-team relationships.

• Aid in configuration and change management practices.

• Conduct or assist in risk and vulnerability assessments.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure sustainable operations and facilitate knowledge transfer.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.

• Specialization in MIS, IT, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field; a combination of experience and/or education will be considered.

• At least 5 years of experience in IT, Cybersecurity, Manufacturing Technology, or Operational Technology is required.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices.

• Understanding of risk management processes.

• Knowledge of change management processes.

• Awareness of OT cybersecurity compliance requirements and best practices.

• Insight into risks, threats, and vulnerabilities in control system environments.

• Knowledge of Purdue Model levels and control system network architectures.

• Understanding of operational priorities and lifecycle management principles and practices.

• Knowledge of OT assets, protocols, and asset management principles.

• Ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.

• Proficiency in collaborating with others across organizational and technical boundaries.

• Expertise in creating technical documentation.

• Skill in translating operational requirements into security controls.

• Competence in performing risk-based gap analysis.

• Ability to identify gaps in control system network and connectivity architecture.

• Skill in designing and specifying OT systems.

• Proficiency in interpreting OT network diagrams and conducting zone/conduit requirement analysis.

• Ability to review access control lists and firewall rules.
