This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a national resource for Best Buddies Jobs staff by providing field support, coaching, problem-solving, and training assistance.
• Collaborate with state and local Jobs teams to enhance job development, employer engagement, participant support strategies, relationship management, and program operations.
• Assist the Director of Jobs with the overall program strategy, qualitative and quantitative goals, recurring team meetings, and performance data tracking.
• Offer coaching, consultation, technical assistance, and problem-solving related to participant services, employer engagement, job development, retention, service delivery, and program operations.
• Support job placement, retention, fading, and employer stewardship initiatives.
• Facilitate communication between state teams and the national Jobs team.
• Identify support and training needs while providing guidance on complex challenges involving participants, employers, and program implementation.
• Monitor trends, barriers, and emerging needs to develop recommendations and targeted support strategies.
• Assist with state-specific Jobs program audits by providing training and guidance on compliance, documentation, and best practices.
• Support onboarding and professional development opportunities for Jobs staff.
• Conduct field visits to evaluate program implementation, provide hands-on coaching, and identify opportunities for staff development.
• Develop and implement a training curriculum for Jobs staff.
• Design and facilitate training sessions at organizational conferences and staff development events.
• Develop, coordinate, and deliver both virtual and in-person training, boot camps, learning resources, and coaching supports.
• Refine and enhance existing training materials.
• Train staff on the utilization of Salesforce and provide ongoing support.
• Review and update forms and materials to ensure they reflect current procedures and style guidelines.
• Establish partnerships with third-party training organizations.
• Assist in the establishment of new Best Buddies Jobs program locations, including navigation of licensure, case file and procedural setup, staff hiring, initial job development, and staff training.
• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3–4 years of experience in project management along with coaching or mentoring staff.
• Preferred 1–2 years of direct supervisory experience.
• Experience with Best Buddies programs or integrated employment/job coaching is preferred.
• Strong project management abilities, including planning, analysis, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to gather information and insights through questioning, probing, and observing staff in the field, analyze data, and provide constructive feedback.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong written communication and editing abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Comfortable engaging with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
• Willingness to travel frequently at the national level and work evenings and weekends as required.
