This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a team of Implementation Project Managers.
• Mentor team members on effective strategies for collaborating with both internal and external partners to ensure timely and successful multi-product implementations and seamless system handoffs.
• Oversee the entire customer implementation project management process.
• Enhance and refine implementation project management systems and documentation.
• Manage escalations and strategize for launch readiness and overall launch success.
• Act as the primary contact for cross-functional launch communications, inquiries, and issues.
• Collaborate across functions to address issues and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Develop and enhance launch processes, tools, and systems.
• Oversee recruiting, training, capacity planning, and customer feedback operations.
• Track and analyze customer and team performance to guide operational and procedural modifications.
• Assist customer-facing teams during calls and handle escalations as necessary.
• Collaborate with Sales teams during the pre-sales phase and help close complex client deals.
• Identify clients' system requirements and advocate for necessary development changes within the application.
• Align team goals with the Paylocity Implementation strategy.
• Establish standard Project Management processes for communication, expectations, timelines, and project success.
• Ensure that Project Managers adhere to compliance standards for Implementation projects.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Four to seven years of project management experience in human capital management, payroll, or a related field.
• Experience in a SaaS multi-client environment is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of the Paylocity Implementation process or equivalent experience.
• CAPM certification is preferred.
• Capability to devise innovative solutions to challenges and enhance productivity.
• Strong dedication to achieving excellence.
• Proficient presentation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proven experience in leading teams and individuals.
• Advanced understanding of program and project management principles, practices, and tools.
• Strategic thinking, sound judgment, strong business acumen, and a capacity to execute plans with urgency.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in facilitating the development of project metrics and establishing tracking methodologies.
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods, typically 7–8 hours per day.
• Capability to use computers and phone systems, type, and operate multiple software programs concurrently.
