Manager II – Project Controls, Gas

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Leads the project controls personnel assigned to a project management team.

• Ensures that Blattner's project controls processes and deliverables are executed efficiently and provided to the project team.

• Analyzes project data and suggests improvements to the portfolio, project controls, and project management teams.

• Supervises schedulers, cost analysts, project controls specialists, and third-party consultants.

• Aids in performance evaluations, time approvals, recruitment, and mentorship of the project controls team.

• Develops, manages, and analyzes CPM schedules, cost and budget forecasts, cost and schedule risk analyses, risk management, and change management.

• Oversees scheduler workloads and guarantees the timely submission of schedules, cost forecasts, risk registers, dashboards, S-curves, and histograms.

• Conducts strategic analysis of project data to support management and decision-making.

• Provides actionable insights to the project team.

• Ensures that project controls contractual obligations to clients are fulfilled.

• Advises project management on contracts and change management processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Industrial Engineering Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; or equivalent education or relevant experience is required.

• A minimum of seven years of progressive experience in a construction project controls discipline, including project scheduling, project cost, project risk analysis, or a combination thereof.

• Prior experience in leading senior-level individual contributors is required.

• Prior experience in Gas Power Generation and/or heavy industrial sectors is essential.

• Experience in the renewable energy construction industry is a significant advantage.
