Manager II – Project Controls

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the project controls team members assigned to a project management group.

• Ensure that project controls processes and deliverables are executed efficiently and provided to the project team.

• Analyze project data and suggest improvements to portfolio management, project controls, and project management teams.

• Supervise schedulers, cost analysts, project controls specialists, and third-party consultants.

• Assist in performance assessments, time approvals, recruitment, and mentorship for the project controls team.

• Develop, manage, and analyze CPM schedules, budget forecasts, risk management, and change management processes.

• Oversee the workload of schedulers and guarantee the timely provision of schedules, cost forecasts, risk registers and analyses, dashboards, S-curves, and histograms.

• Conduct strategic assessments of project data to influence management and decision-making.

• Offer actionable recommendations to achieve project goals.

• Ensure that contractual obligations related to project controls are fulfilled for clients.

• Advise project management on contract evaluation, formulation, execution, and change management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Industrial Engineering Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; or equivalent education or experience is required.

• At least seven years of progressive experience in a construction project controls role, including project scheduling, project costing, or project risk analysis, or a combination of these experiences.

• Prior experience leading senior-level individual contributors is required.

• Experience in the renewable energy construction sector is preferred.
