This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Engage and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders for functional team members.
• Serve as a representative of Syneos Health to customers.
• Oversee team members’ performance to ensure alignment with project deliverables.
• Directly supervise multifunctional staff within FSP360.
• Interact with customer contacts concerning service delivery.
• Build and nurture collaborative relationships with customers at a local level.
• Manage the performance and daily activities of multifunctional team members against KPIs and execute appropriate mitigation or remediation plans.
• Oversee resource availability and address any resourcing conflicts.
• Gather customer feedback and manage customer issues through escalation processes.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOP/Work Instructions, and compliance with federal and local regulations as well as ICH GCPs.
• Conduct oversight visits for Clinical Research Associates as necessary.
• Maintain updates in systems and ensure compliance with relevant customer and Syneos Health processes.
• Discuss resource requirements with clients and drive growth in local accounts.
• Make data-driven decisions for team performance that supports business unit objectives.
• Share insights, best practices, and lessons learned across the business unit.
• Attract, select, and retain talent to enhance revenue generation.
• Evaluate and assign talent to projects effectively.
• Participate in FSP360 account meetings, regional management meetings, and Town Halls.
• Provide line management and actively oversee performance through setting goals, conducting reviews, evaluations, and crafting improvement plans.
• Verify adherence to training and maintain accurate training records.
• Administer HR processes, including timecards and expense reports.
• Allocate project tasks and review workload and utilization.
• Foster professional development and Individual Development Plans.
• Manage engagement, retention, turnover, recognition, accountability, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
• A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, or equivalent relevant experience, along with substantial clinical research experience in a contract research organization, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology company, including some leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inform, influence, convince, and persuade others effectively.
• Strong skills in time management, technical abilities, and organizational capabilities.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Creative problem solver who is self-driven, adaptable, collaborative, and focused on customer satisfaction.
• Understanding of fundamental financial concepts related to forecasting and budgeting.
• Proficient computer skills and willingness to adopt new technologies.
• Willingness to travel as needed (up to 25%).
