Manager, Financial Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic collaborator with the Chief Financial Officer, focusing on Finance, Operations, Implementations, and Revenue Operations.

• Oversee the entire monthly billing cycle, which encompasses data validation, invoice creation, and distribution.

• Reconcile billing records with system data, transaction logs, and customer accounts.

• Detect and rectify discrepancies among billing systems, revenue operations records, and actual service delivery.

• Perform variance analysis and compile reconciliation documents for review and audit purposes.

• Collaborate with Operations to verify service delivery and usage metrics for billable charges.

• Work alongside Implementations to ensure that billing accurately reflects customer configurations and service agreements.

• Coordinate with Revenue Operations on rate modifications, contract changes, and billing adjustments.

• Guarantee that invoices adhere to contract stipulations, Statements of Work (SOWs), and regulatory standards.

• Maintain billing documentation, reconciliation work papers, and audit trails.

• Track billing metrics and KPIs while suggesting improvements to workflows.

• Lead finance-related initiatives, including system upgrades and process redesigns.

• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and report status updates to senior leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a comparable field.

• Over 7 years of experience in financial operations, billing, or a similar capacity.

• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving expertise.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.

• Proficiency in Quickbooks (or comparable software) and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to collaborate across various functions and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards related to billing and finance.

• Background in process improvement and project management.
