Manager, ERISA Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Direct all facets of the JULY ERISA department

• Supervise the execution of ERISA projects

• Offer technical assistance and supervise ERISA team members

• Act as the main point of escalation for ERISA technical issues

• Oversee ERISA production to ensure timely and accurate completion of plan documents, amendments, notices, DOL or IRS audits, QDRO projects, and EPCRS projects

• Develop processes and timelines for necessary plan restatements and interim amendment projects

• Keep abreast of new ERISA laws and regulations and implement operational adjustments with team members

• Address complex ERISA issues related to controlled groups, mergers and acquisitions, EPCRS, and plan documents and amendments

• Manage ERISA team members to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved

• Support the Vice President of Plan Consulting with escalations and assist the JULY Sales Team and other matters as necessary

• Maintain records on client projects and communications within JULY's software

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Qualified Retirement Plan Document / ERISA technical roles

• Capability to clearly and understandably articulate complex ERISA and EPCRS topics

• Professional and succinct verbal, non-verbal, and written communication abilities

• Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency

• Exceptionally organized; capable of managing multiple projects with minimal supervision

• Extensive, hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing legal plan documents

• Client-centered, responsible, credible, and trustworthy demeanor

• Positive approach to problem-solving

• Bachelor's Degree preferred

• ERPA, Attorney, CPA, or other relevant designations enabling client representation with the IRS is a plus

• Ability to engage in challenging conversations in a positive and professional manner
