
Manager, Epic Inpatient Clinical Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise the business and project components of applications and modules linked to the Inpatient platform within the OCHIN collaborative.
• Manage projects within budget constraints.
• Address issues and risks effectively.
• Ensure high-quality implementation and post-installation stabilization.
• Directly oversee the implementation, optimization, and support of Epic clinical applications.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance the system and processes to boost efficiency.
• Manage OCHIN and member resources while enhancing process quality, information systems, and outcomes.
• Methodically onboard new staff and prepare them for success.
• Assess and cultivate staff skills and Individual Development Plans.
• Monitor and evaluate department, project, and individual performance goals.
• Identify opportunities for process and quality improvement.
• Ensure team processes are accurately represented on the OCHIN System Map.
• Review ticket metrics, ensuring SLA delivery and current assignments are met.
• Address and resolve member escalations promptly.
• Lead, inspire, develop, and define positive outcomes for a team of analysts.
• Coordinate and manage processes and functions for Inpatient Clinical Maintenance.
• Oversee the clinical division of the Inpatient team and collaborate with other managers.
• Facilitate communication and connections between the Epic Inpatient Clinical Applications Team and other OCHIN departments.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Epic certification in one or two of the following applications: Bugsy, Stork, ASAP, OpTime, Anesthesia, Willow - Inpatient, Willow Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation.
• Prior experience with Epic applications.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar or relevant position.
• A total of 8 years of applicable experience is preferred.
• Strong sense of customer service excellence and the ability to deliver it effectively in all situations.
• Excellent leadership capabilities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Access is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office.
• High-speed internet connection is required.
• Capability to work in a distraction-free environment.
