Manager, Enterprise Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the development and implementation of the enterprise-wide architecture strategy.

• Shape long-term technology roadmaps and impact investment and product decisions.

• Ensure congruence between business strategy, architecture standards, and technology delivery.

• Oversee a team of Enterprise Architects across various architectural disciplines.

• Establish both long-term and short-term organizational goals, objectives, and tracking mechanisms.

• Offer architectural leadership, direction, and assistance to technology teams.

• Direct the creation, execution, and assessment of enterprise architecture technology strategies.

• Outline the enterprise architecture maturity roadmap and governance protocols.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement architecture governance frameworks and enhance processes.

• Ensure compliance of solutions with technology assurance standards and evaluate deliverables for precision and quality.

• Manage team workloads and communicate status, risks, mitigation strategies, and contingency planning to senior leadership.

• Contribute to SDLC procedures that support enterprise architecture controls and metrics.

• Develop and present business-relevant metrics for the enterprise architecture program.

• Identify and address project issues while overseeing multiple project development life cycles from an enterprise architecture viewpoint.

• Work alongside diverse, cross-functional teams in a matrix environment to gather and synthesize requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science-related field or equivalent work experience is essential.

• Equivalent experience is recognized as one year of technical experience for each year of college.

• A minimum of 7 years in IT Architecture or a related field is required.

• At least 5 years of experience leading teams of technical resources across various disciplines is necessary.

• Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, etc., is required.

• Proficient in leading and managing a team of enterprise architects and consultants.

• Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams to clarify and enforce architecture standards.

• Ability to apply security concepts and controls to meet organizational needs and objectives.

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to perform non-routine analytical tasks.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, alongside business acumen to convey enterprise architecture details, policies, and practices to both technical and non-technical colleagues.

• Strong interpersonal and organizational capabilities.

• Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

• Capacity to act as a mentor.

• An agile mindset with awareness and understanding of Agile methodologies.
