This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the strategy, governance, administration, and advancement of NextGen Healthcare’s enterprise Salesforce platform and its integrated applications.
• Personally guide intricate platform decisions, solution designs, configurations, optimizations, and operational support.
• Manage and nurture a team of Salesforce administrators.
• Create, maintain, and implement a multi-year Salesforce capability roadmap that aligns with business goals.
• Optimize the use of existing Salesforce investments across Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Assess and utilize emerging capabilities such as Agentforce, Data 360, Event Monitoring, automation, analytics, and digital experiences.
• Convert business objectives into scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
• Offer technical and strategic guidance for governance, release management, solution standards, data quality, integrations, adoption, and continuous enhancement.
• Spearhead the planning, implementation, support, enhancement, and optimization of enterprise applications and related technology capabilities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to determine operational requirements, strategic goals, process enhancements, application priorities, and delivery strategies.
• Supervise application services encompassing configuration, enhancement, integration, issue resolution, upgrades, and user support.
• Establish roadmaps, priorities, and action plans for application initiatives and operational tasks.
• Ensure enterprise applications fulfill business requirements and comply with organizational standards for quality, security, compliance, and scalability.
• Develop governance, policies, processes, and documentation for effective application management and service delivery.
• Track application performance, service levels, and user experience, implementing improvements for efficiency and reliability.
• Lead collaborations with business leaders, IT, architecture, security, data partners, and external vendors.
• Manage risks, dependencies, escalations, and competing priorities.
• Assess technology solutions and suggest enhancements and future capabilities.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for team members.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, business trends, and best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Over 7 years of pertinent experience in enterprise applications, information technology, or a related area.
• 2–4 years of leadership experience.
• Proven experience in leading enterprise application initiatives, teams, or functional areas.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver technology-enabled solutions.
• Background in supporting enterprise applications within a complex operational setting.
• Extensive, senior-level Salesforce administration experience.
• Understanding of enterprise application management, support models, and system lifecycle practices.
• Knowledge of business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with governance, change management, risk management, and operational controls for enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of enterprise technology environments, integrations, data flows, security considerations, and vendor-supported solutions.
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
• Skills in project, operational, and service delivery management.
• Proficient in planning, prioritization, and execution.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making competencies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
