This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of professionals specializing in enterprise applications.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of enterprise applications, which includes evaluation, selection, implementation, configuration, optimization, support, upgrades, and retirement.
• Direct the administration, enhancement, and strategic advancement of the firm's document management system.
• Spearhead the implementation and development of the firm's data warehouse and data architecture environment.
• Create and execute a long-term enterprise applications strategy and technology roadmap in collaboration with the CIO.
• Promote cloud adoption, optimize platforms, rationalize applications, and reduce technical debt.
• Oversee application implementations, upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
• Collaborate with attorneys, administrative leaders, and business teams to provide technology solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, technology assessments, and service-level performance.
• Ensure applications comply with security, compliance, privacy, governance, and business continuity standards.
• Assist in managing application budgets, software licenses, maintenance agreements, and project costs.
• Define and track KPIs for system reliability, service quality, user satisfaction, and team performance.
• Maintain documentation, policies, procedures, and knowledge bases related to applications.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and support teams.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, legal industry trends, automation opportunities, and best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in managing enterprise applications and leading complex technology projects.
• Proven success in leading enterprise software implementations, upgrades, integrations, and modernization efforts.
• Experience in managing and developing technical teams, including coaching, performance management, and professional growth.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, systems integration, data workflows, and platform governance.
• Hands-on expertise with legal technology platforms such as NetDocuments, Aderant, or similar systems, including configuration, workflow development, and system administration.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data architecture, data modeling, and data governance practices.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, SaaS solutions, and modern enterprise platforms.
• Understanding of ITIL, cybersecurity, and application security best practices.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Outstanding organizational, project management, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, budgets, vendors, and strategic initiatives effectively.
• Experience in supporting a law firm or professional services organization is highly preferred.
• ITIL Foundation, PMP, Agile, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or similar professional certifications are preferred.
