Manager, EMEA Community – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop and advocate for the regional community strategy that aligns with team and business objectives.

• Facilitate the iteration, innovation, and expansion of the community and moderator growth framework.

• Recognize opportunities and initiate programs in key markets.

• Empower regional teams to implement initiatives that enhance local communities and markets.

• Recruit, onboard, and train local community specialists.

• Collaborate with Growth, Product, Engineering, Content, and Safety teams.

• Collect regional insights and communicate results to internal stakeholders.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the regional team.

• Convert strategy into quarterly and sprint priorities, including ownership and milestones.

• Assess risks and capacity to facilitate delivery.

• Oversee community health and growth metrics, encompassing KPI progress, moderator coverage and retention, and the impact of community-building efforts.

• Report directly to the Director, International Community.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in community management or marketing operations.

• A minimum of 1-2 years in a leadership position.

• Demonstrated success in driving community growth and achieving business impact through community-led or marketing initiatives.

• Capability to balance strategic planning with operational execution.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse cross-functional teams while influencing the adoption of a community-first approach.

• Comfortable with testing, iterating, and modifying strategies for various markets.

• Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and experiment with different methods.

• Data-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to convert insights into actionable steps.

• Strong understanding of Reddit’s identity and the significance of communities and moderators.

• Experience with moderation on Reddit or comparable platforms such as Discord, Facebook, or other forums (preferred).
