This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical leader for the Domain Consultant team.

• Offer technical expertise and support throughout customers’ journeys of transforming their security operations.

• Partner with Systems Engineering Managers and District Sales Manager counterparts to cultivate customer relationships.

• Define technical solutions that address the crucial business imperatives of customers.

• Advocate for Palo Alto Networks’ on-premises, cloud, and security services.

• Recruit and onboard Domain Consultants.

• Create a training curriculum for Domain Consultants.

• Mentor, train, and evaluate team members.

• Build relationships with Solutions Consultant Managers and their teams.

• Drive technical validation and improve proof-of-concept win rates for Cortex solutions while minimizing timelines.

• Provide technical leadership during customer interactions and share insights on security operations trends and methodologies.

• Deliver presentations to customers ranging from technicians to CIOs.

• Facilitate discussions on industry trends and shifts in the security landscape.

• Position Palo Alto Networks’ solutions against those of competitors.

• Support high-level design and documentation for key use cases.

• Review and oversee technical validation and proof-of-value test plans.

• Establish and maintain vital customer relationships and reference accounts.

• Serve as an escalation point for pre-sales and collaborate with post-sales teams.

• Work alongside product teams on customer requirements and roadmap development.

• Stay informed about competitor selling strategies and technologies.

• Be prepared to travel up to 50% within the assigned region.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading customer-facing pre-sales engineering or solutions architect teams.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales engineering within SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or endpoint environments.

• In-depth knowledge of security operations market trends and an awareness of roadmap and technology development initiatives.

• Experience in delivering comprehensive security solutions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

• Experience managing large teams, allocating resources efficiently, and overseeing engagements.

• Proficient in English.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned region.
