This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer technical and personnel leadership for PMI's production operations, including application support, monitoring, incident management, change management, and service reliability functions.
• Take responsibility for the daily health, availability, performance, security, and operational readiness of essential digital services.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and various business teams.
• Promote disciplined operations, observability-driven practices, automation, AI-enhanced workflows, and ongoing improvement.
• Mitigate service risk, expedite recovery, and enhance experiences for both customers and employees.
• Proven experience in supporting enterprise-level, cloud-based digital applications and critical business services, ideally within Microsoft Azure.
• Established track record in leading major incident responses, problem management, root cause analyses, change management, operational readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Hands-on knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, including APM, logs, metrics, traces, alerting, dashboards, and service health analytics; familiarity with Datadog and Azure Monitor is preferred.
• Comprehension of SRE and ITIL methodologies, encompassing availability, SLOs/SLAs, capacity, event management, change enablement, service transition, and reliability enhancement.
• Experience in implementing automation, AI-assisted operations, AIOps, analytics, or workflow optimization to boost operational efficiency and service reliability.
• Practical understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking basics, identity and access management, vulnerability management, disaster recovery, business continuity, and audit preparedness.
• Capability to influence and work collaboratively across Product, Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, Architecture, Security, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical challenges and operational risks in terms of clear business impact and actionable steps.
• Proven experience in people leadership, coaching, performance management, workforce planning, and talent development.
• Relevant certifications in ITIL, Microsoft Azure, SRE, cloud operations, or service management are preferred.
