This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product, marketing, and data analysts.
• Prioritize and schedule team tasks with stakeholders, monitor progress, eliminate obstacles, and ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Data Engineering to convert business requirements into actionable insights and scalable analytics solutions.
• Support new products and initiatives through measurement, instrumentation, analysis, and reporting.
• Enhance the quality, reliability, timeliness, and business impact of analyses, insights, data models, and reporting.
• Provide technical guidance on analytics modeling, experimentation, tooling, and coding best practices.
• Promote trusted self-service analytics throughout The Zebra.
• Identify gaps in data and measurement, collaborating with Data Engineering and Engineering to address them.
• Contribute to the data strategy, shared metrics, best practices, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with recruiting to attract, hire, and onboard analytics talent.
• Report directly to the Senior Director of Data.
• Over 5 years of experience in a data role (analytics, analytics engineering, or data science), including more than 2 years in direct team management.
• Strong expertise in SQL and a working knowledge of Python.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, experimentation, reporting, and statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with modern data tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Looker, or Tableau.
• Proficiency with AI tools and their application to drive results for an analytics team.
• Proven track record of developing team members technically and professionally.
• Capability to create and optimize analytics processes.
• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and adapting in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• This position is currently not eligible for visa sponsorship or transfers.
• Experience in ad tech, marketing analytics, or growth analytics.
• Relevant experience in insurance, insurtech, or fintech.
• Experience in building or managing an end-to-end experimentation program.
• Experience working on a high-traffic, customer-facing website.
