This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Perform comprehensive analyses of various secondary data sources, such as claims, EHR/EMR, specialty pharmacy, prescription, CRM, and media/omnichannel ecosystem data.
• Integrate insights from diverse data sources to guide brand planning, lifecycle strategies, performance enhancement, and HCP/patient journeys.
• Utilize advanced data analytics techniques and segmentation to detect patterns, drivers, and opportunities.
• Create and sustain standardized dashboards, reports, and analytical tools for tracking brand and portfolio performance.
• Ensure data quality and consistency through validation and alignment across different data sources and reporting outputs.
• Design and implement qualitative and quantitative primary market research involving HCPs, HCOs, patients, medical/KOLs, and payers.
• Combine primary research with secondary data insights to gain a deeper understanding of customer perspectives and requirements.
• Analyze and communicate research findings to cross-functional stakeholders, translating results into actionable brand strategy and execution implications.
• Conduct and interpret strategic market, competitive, and landscape analyses.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Medical, and Market Access stakeholders to identify business inquiries and deliver integrated insights.
• Work alongside data strategy and technology teams regarding data sources, methodologies, and analytical results.
• Assist in the development of standardized analytical frameworks and identify enhancements to research processes, tools, and best practices.
• Report to the Director of Customer Analytics & Insights.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, scientific, business, or related field is essential.
• 4 to 6+ years of progressive experience in analytics, market research, or consulting.
• Proficient in analyzing secondary pharmaceutical data sources, including claims, EHR/EMR, specialty pharmacy, and/or prescriber-level data.
• Strong expertise in primary market research methodologies, encompassing qualitative interviews, focus groups, and quantitative surveys and segmentation.
• Skilled with analytics, visualization, and querying tools like Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical or healthcare datasets such as IQVIA DDD, Xponent, and patient claims data.
• Proficient in structured problem-solving.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a self-starter in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
• Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated sectors is preferred.
• An advanced degree (MBA or relevant graduate degree) is preferred.
