Manager, Corporate Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee and nurture the Corporate Accounting Team

• Identify and address technical accounting challenges

• Establish and evaluate internal controls

• Lead the preparation and presentation of financial statements

• Supervise all accounting activities related to the corporate accounting function

• Set and uphold accounting standards and best practices

• Continuously review and improve accounting processes

• Direct the corporate accounting audit process

• Collaborate with the finance team and various departments

• Remain updated with accounting standards and regulations

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate accounting

• Experience in managing teams

• Background in a remote, growth-stage setting

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Extensive knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

• Experience with technical accounting research, including ASC 606, ASC 350-40, ASC 810, ASC 860

• Strong background in internal controls

• Excellent analytical abilities

• Strong communication skills
