This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate the growth of team members in cloud and infrastructure, promoting accountability and technical excellence.
• Take ownership of the strategy, architecture, and daily operations of the Microsoft Azure environment for the firm, covering compute, storage, networking, and identity services.
• Direct the governance, security, and administration of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Exchange environments.
• Ensure high availability, business continuity, disaster recovery preparedness, and backup strategies for both cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Oversee operations of network infrastructure, which includes Ubiquiti networking equipment, Palo Alto Prisma firewalls, Versa SD-WAN, and managing relationships with service providers.
• Manage vendor partnerships, contracts, licensing, and technology investments linked to infrastructure and cloud services.
• Collaborate with technology leadership to create budgets, forecasts, and strategies for cost optimization.
• Work alongside security, application development, and support teams to provide reliable and secure technology services.
• Establish and uphold infrastructure standards, governance policies, and access management controls.
• Lead cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and the deployment of enterprise technology projects.
• Monitor performance, capacity, and security metrics while proactively addressing risks and service issues.
• Present reporting, insights, and strategic recommendations to technology leadership.
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Over 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or related technology roles.
• At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in an infrastructure or cloud operations setting.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure, encompassing compute, storage, networking, identity, and security services.
• Experience managing Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, and Intune environments.
• A solid understanding of networking, virtualization, cybersecurity principles, firewalls, SD-WAN technologies, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Proven skills in project management, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities while balancing operational needs and long-term strategic objectives.
• Experience collaborating with managed service providers (MSPs) and external technology partners.
• Demonstrated professionalism, effective communication skills, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
• Experience working with a law firm or other professional services organization is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Ubiquiti networking solutions and enterprise network management is preferred.
• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, MS-102, SC-300, or similar credentials are preferred.
• ITIL Foundation certification or experience with IT service management (ITSM) best practices is preferred.
