This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the architecture and strategy for comprehensive global cloud networking and telecom.
• Establish target-state architecture, standards, and multi-year roadmaps for both the network and Genesys contact center.
• Propel the architecture roadmap into execution.
• Design and manage cloud and hybrid networking solutions utilizing AWS and Azure.
• Implement segmentation, connectivity, DNS, traffic inspection, and zero-trust access through automation and as code.
• Oversee international telephony and telecom architecture, which includes global voice architecture, carrier and numbering strategies, as well as Genesys cloud contact center integration.
• Manage the subscriber-of-record position for each market and ensure compliance with vendor requirements before acquiring regulated numbering.
• Lead data transit, connectivity, data management, residency, security, and scalability during cloud migration.
• Position Genesys core and media regions and design call, recording, transcript, and failover paths to comply with country data-residency mandates.
• Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, Anthropic, and OpenAI to create and validate configurations, analyze telemetry, and draft compliance documentation with human oversight.
• Assume responsibility for global security and compliance concerning the network and voice.
• Implement least-privilege access, encryption, segmentation, and monitoring across the network and contact center.
• Build and lead an efficient global network and telecom team.
• Establish standards, foster team development, manage budget and vendor relationships, and report progress and risks to leadership.
• Proven experience leading network and/or telecom in a global, regulated setting.
• Practical experience in cloud networking on AWS and/or Azure.
• Familiarity with segmentation, connectivity, DNS, and zero-trust access practices.
• Experience in delivering networking solutions as code rather than through manual operations.
• Understanding of carrier and numbering models.
• Knowledge of toll-free forwarding and global toll-free procurement channels.
• Proficiency in SIP and voice routing.
• Awareness of call quality metrics.
• Experience integrating or managing a global cloud contact center, preferably Genesys.
• Insight into core and media region placement, audio flows, transcripts, and records.
• Experience in engineering data residency and compliance with country regulations in markets such as India, the UAE, Brazil, and the European Union.
• Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Anthropic and OpenAI AI tools.
• Skills in analyzing traffic and call quality telemetry.
• Experience in producing compliance documentation.
• Knowledge of least-privilege access, encryption, segmentation, and monitoring strategies.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards.
• Experience in vendor and carrier management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Networking and cloud certifications are a plus.
