Senior Data Engineer, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level professional with experience in Data and AWS.

• Prior experience at Itaú and familiarity with its technical nuances, processes, infrastructure, access controls, and repositories.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Knowledge of PySpark.

• Understanding of Apache Spark, including its functionality, limitations, and the implications of improper decisions or usage.

• Strong expertise in AWS Glue / Glue Jobs.

• Experience with AWS Step Functions.

• Proficient in AWS SQS.

• Knowledgeable in AWS SNS.

• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure development and architectural design.

• Familiarity with the infrastructure standards implemented by Itaú.

• Understanding of integrations between AWS services, such as SQS with Lambda.

• Knowledge of Kafka is a plus.

• Familiarity with other relevant AWS services is also advantageous.

• Experience with highly critical data projects and/or meeting aggressive delivery deadlines is a plus.

• Ability to work autonomously and manage your own schedule.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.
