Manager, Charter Air Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee interactions between clients and university partners within the Charter Air division.

• Supervise the complete sourcing-to-collection process for charter air travel.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with charter departments at commercial airlines and charter carriers both in the United States and internationally.

• Handle the relationship management, selection, and contracting processes for collegiate and event clients.

• May supervise Charter Air Coordinators.

• Foster strong relationships with university partners and charter air service providers.

• Coordinate and communicate with Anthony Travel's onsite athletics staff and Event Managers.

• Assist in ensuring Anthony Travel receives the most competitive market rates.

• Support contract management to mitigate risk and enhance company revenue.

• Conduct situation analysis and make informed decisions.

• Collaborate with charter air liaisons to prepare charters for events and address customer service concerns.

• Identify solutions to process inefficiencies or business challenges.

• Oversee all facets of the air charter operation.

• Manage client reporting activities.

• Ensure compliance and consistency with established procedures and policies.

• Oversee the setup of data and information within travel management systems.

• Manage the customer travel experience, including coordination with carriers, TSA, airports, and handling flight disruptions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of seven years of relevant experience in business, sales, and charter air management.

• A Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience is necessary.

• Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.

• Strong orientation towards client service and vendor management.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Experience with Airline Certificates (Part 121, 125, & 135).

• Understanding of ARGUS ratings, airline certificates (Part 121, 125, and 135), DOT regulations, CFR, Part 212 affinity/single entity, and Part 380/public charters.

• Proven track record of building relationships with current and prospective clients and partners, leading to financial or other organizational benefits.

• Ability to comprehend and adhere to internal business processes while recommending and implementing enhancements.

• Familiarity with the entire travel lifecycle and charter air operations and contracts.

• Capability to represent Anthony Travel professionally and effectively via phone and in person.

• Willingness to collaborate as a team player to establish business processes and achieve team objectives.
