This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Lead the operational implementation of Career Exploration Services programs.
• Supervise business operations personnel and coordinate initiatives across various functions.
• Ensure the effective delivery of annual program cycles, operational priorities, and client-facing activities.
• Convert strategic priorities into actionable operational plans, resource assignments, performance expectations, and measurable outcomes.
• Set operational priorities, track performance, address escalated issues, and promote continuous improvement.
• Develop and manage project plans, workstreams, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
• Monitor execution progress, pinpoint risks and dependencies, and implement strategies for mitigation.
• Ensure operational readiness for product launches, annual milestones, client-facing events, and critical business activities.
• Maintain operational policies, procedures, training materials, and documentation.
• Act as the escalation point for complex customer, stakeholder, and business issues.
• Cultivate relationships with internal and external partners and oversee engagements with advisory and affinity groups.
• Represent CES programs in meetings, webinars, conferences, and stakeholder forums.
• Manage outreach strategies, communications, training programs, and user support resources.
• Support strategies for customer education and engagement, knowledge sharing, documentation standards, and business continuity.
• Establish operational metrics, monitor performance indicators, and analyze operational data and customer feedback.
• Lead initiatives for process improvement and assist in forecasting, capacity planning, and business continuity efforts.
• Set performance expectations and development goals; provide coaching, feedback, mentoring, and performance management support.
• Distribute workload and resources while promoting accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and ongoing improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
• Proven experience in leading operational programs, business processes, customer engagement activities, or service delivery functions.
• Experience managing projects that involve multiple stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.
• Experience leading teams within a matrixed environment and coordinating cross-functional efforts.
• Familiarity with developing operational processes, documentation, training, or customer support practices.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and implement process enhancements.
• Preferred: experience in higher education or residency training; knowledge of project management tools.
• Preferred: experience supporting technology-enabled products.
• Preferred: experience collaborating with clients, outreach, communications, or product teams.
