Manager, Business – Project Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of intricate business initiatives from their inception to implementation.

• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of business processes and their dependencies through Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).

• Lead executive-level workshops to establish strategy, set priorities, and determine solution direction.

• Detect root causes, operational risks, and opportunities for long-term enhancements.

• Act as the main business owner for defining solutions and ensuring delivery readiness.

• Direct large-scale, cross-functional projects and multi-phase initiatives.

• Oversee scope, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.

• Facilitate complex decision-making across various business units.

• Serve as the primary escalation point for assigned initiatives.

• Provide updates suitable for executives on risks, impacts, decisions, and outcomes.

• Establish trusted advisor relationships with senior business and technical leaders.

• Identify opportunities for process optimization.

• Encourage transparency, accountability, and reliable delivery.

• Assist with onboarding through knowledge sharing and mentoring.

• Conduct peer reviews of BRDs and project deliverables.

• Share facilitation and consultative delivery methodologies.

• Promote ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Delivery, Product Management, Program Management, Process Improvement, or related fields.

• Experience in leading complex, cross-functional business and technology initiatives.

• Demonstrated ability to independently facilitate executive-level meetings and influence business decisions.

• Advanced proficiency in documenting business requirements, functional specifications, business rules, and process flows.

• Capability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with competing priorities.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

• Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.

• Preferred: experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management, Healthcare, Finance, Revenue Cycle, or Insurance sectors.

• Preferred: experience collaborating with Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Software Development teams.

• Preferred: solid understanding of analytics delivery lifecycles and enterprise reporting solutions.

• Preferred: knowledge of SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or business intelligence concepts.

• Preferred: experience in leading enterprise transformation or operational improvement initiatives.

• Preferred: experience mentoring analysts or leading project delivery communities of practice.

• Preferred: certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP, CSM, or other relevant professional credentials.

• Preferred: proven expertise in stakeholder management, organizational change, and consultative solution delivery.
