This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Identify and assess outbound and inbound leads through phone calls, emails, social media messaging, AI, and other available channels.
• Conduct and facilitate capabilities demonstrations both remotely and in-person when necessary.
• Oversee the sales pipeline, including lead qualification, pricing, contract negotiations, forecasting, and managing won and lost opportunities.
• Achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly objectives for capabilities demonstrations, opportunities generated, and new client contracts secured.
• Become an expert on CRIO products and their effects on clients’ businesses.
• Build and sustain relationships with prospects, key clients, stakeholders, clinical research sites, and academic institutions.
• Utilize CRM software to track and manage sales activities and record customer interactions.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings.
• Continuously enhance sales skills and product knowledge through training, workshops, and self-directed learning.
• Collaborate with marketing, product management, and engineering teams.
• Develop and implement sales strategies and plans aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrated history of success in a target-driven sales environment.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills; capable of building rapport and establishing trust.
• High level of integrity and respectful conduct.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events.
• Aspiration to build a career in sales.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Availability aligned with AEST or ACST time zones.
• Availability for a weekly CRIO team call at 6 AM AEST.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience as a clinical research site coordinator or in a highly similar role (preferred).
