This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee a team dedicated to global sourcing, contracting, and commercial management of engineered equipment, valves, and essential supply chain solutions that support APX nuclear initiatives.
• Formulate category and sourcing strategies aimed at enhancing Total Cost of Ownership, mitigating supply chain risks, and ensuring sustained supply continuity.
• Direct the identification of bidders, supplier qualifications, RFx procedures, bid assessments, supplier selection, and award recommendations.
• Negotiate intricate commercial agreements, pricing frameworks, and contractual terms with international suppliers.
• Spearhead strategic supplier relationship management initiatives.
• Encourage supplier performance enhancements through executive business reviews, scorecards, and performance management systems.
• Identify and manage commercial, operational, geopolitical, capacity, quality, and delivery-related risks.
• Build, mentor, and lead a commercial sourcing team committed to innovation and continuous improvement.
• Develop global sourcing strategies for intricate engineered equipment, valves, materials, and services that support APX projects.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, engineering, project management, quality assurance, operations, and strategic global suppliers.
• Report to the Director of APX Supply Chain Commercial Operations.
• A Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or commercial management.
• A minimum of 5 years leading complex negotiations, RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, contract development, and supplier selection processes.
• Proficiency in global sourcing, contracting, and commercial management of engineered equipment, valves, materials, and services.
• Experience in managing strategic supplier relationships and performance metrics.
• Ability to address commercial, operational, geopolitical, capacity, quality, and delivery challenges.
• Strong collaborative skills with executive leadership, engineering, project management, quality, operations, and global suppliers.
• Capability to comply with applicable United States and comparable country export control regulations.
