Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Directly report to the executive team during consulting projects focused on financial risk management clients.

• Oversee a small team of professionals, which includes both company personnel and client resources, during customer engagements.

• Identify, plan, coordinate, and validate deliverables for customer engagements; assign team members to specific deliverables.

• Ensure that project data and information are managed within stringent budgetary and time constraints.

• Collaborate with business unit and IT sponsors to define project objectives, success criteria, and risk evaluations.

• Manage approved budgets with business sponsors and IT stakeholders.

• Work in conjunction with architecture team members to ensure solutions are aligned with the overall IT strategy and data governance.

• Facilitate successful project delivery across multiple IT teams.

• Develop and maintain realistic, credible project plans that receive buy-in from resources and business sponsors.

• Provide status updates to stakeholders and promote effective communication between stakeholders and teams.

• Oversee projects related to data warehousing, ETL processes, and reporting systems.

• Collaborate closely with support teams to manage transition and warranty phases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, or a closely related discipline.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a financial risk consultant role or a similar position.

• Proven ability to apply mathematical concepts using SAS software in a financial services context, acquired through three (3) years of professional experience.

• Comprehensive understanding of financial regulatory standards such as IFRS 9, IFRS 17, and CECL, along with related accounting practices, developed over three (3) years of work experience.

• In-depth knowledge of SAS reporting and management modules, gained through three (3) years of work experience.

• All years of experience may be acquired concurrently.
