This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate with Retail/CPG business leaders to grasp objectives, business drivers, and essential decisions.
• Manage several concurrent value streams and propel initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring value is realized.
• Break down ambiguous business challenges into clear hypotheses, analyses, and decision-making frameworks.
• Perform in-depth analysis to uncover trends, opportunities, performance gaps, and critical bottlenecks, converting insights into actionable recommendations.
• Provide executive and operational decision support through data-informed analysis, planning, and performance insights.
• Identify and prioritize impactful interventions across Pricing, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, and Forecasting.
• Discover opportunities to develop and improve Decision Support Systems (DSS), analytics solutions, and data products in collaboration with product, analytics, and technology teams.
• Utilize GenAI, Agentic AI, analytics, and low-code/no-code tools to quickly prototype solutions and enhance decision-making processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, domain experts, product teams, and AI specialists.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, fostering alignment towards measurable business results.
• Monitor delivery progress, business impact, risks, and dependencies across various value streams.
• Investigate emerging AI and technological advancements, identifying ways to apply them to business challenges.
• 10–15 years of experience in business analytics, strategy/management consulting, commercial analytics, operations, supply chain, finance, marketing/customer analytics, product management, or other decision-focused business roles.
• Extensive experience in the Retail/CPG sector.
• A strong business-oriented consulting and problem-solving approach, with a track record of direct collaboration with business leaders.
• Comprehensive understanding of retail functions such as Pricing, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, and Forecasting.
• Proven capability to transition from business questions to hypotheses, analyses, insights, and recommendations/actions.
• Solid experience in managing multiple workstreams and leading initiatives through their complete lifecycle.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication abilities.
• Practical experience with SQL, BI/visualization tools, and/or Python, alongside a robust analytical aptitude.
• Experience in identifying business opportunities, prioritizing interventions, and converting analytics into quantifiable outcomes.
• Interest or practical exposure to GenAI, AI agents, automation, or other emerging technologies.
• Capability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments while swiftly learning and applying new technologies.
