Manager, Agent Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Build and lead the Agent Architect team.

• Hire, mentor, establish objectives, and oversee the quality of AI Agents produced by the team.

• Actively engage in live customer interactions.

• Conduct weekly one-on-ones, performance evaluations, and career discussions.

• Create development plans and set ramp expectations for new team members.

• Provide guidance to Agent Architects on prompt engineering, conversation design, and customer-facing decision-making.

• Establish team objectives and OKRs that align with Professional Services goals.

• Manage capacity and workload across multiple concurrent projects.

• Identify resource trade-offs and represent Agent Architecture to Sales, Product, Engineering, customers, and partners.

• Assist customers throughout AI Agent implementations, from strategic advice and scoping to complete delivery.

• Serve as the escalation point in cases of agent performance decline.

• Define and uphold agent quality standards through reviews.

• Document best practices and transform recurring field issues into structured feedback for Product development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in a leadership role as a formal manager, team lead, or through ongoing mentorship with responsibility for a group's development and results.

• First-time managers with a strong record of coaching are encouraged to apply.

• Over 3 years of experience in conversation design and AI agent development.

• Demonstrated ability to build scalable solution architecture and conversational experiences based on actual user needs.

• Advanced skills in prompt engineering.

• Experience with REST API integration.

• Proficient in Javascript.

• Strong project and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Extensive experience working with enterprise clients, including in escalated or high-pressure scenarios.

• Sound judgment regarding capacity and prioritization.
