This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Supervise and manage the daily functions of the accounts receivable team.
• Oversee accounts receivable operations, staff development, and client relations.
• Track client inventory, ensuring timely and precise account management as well as collection objectives.
• Organize follow-up tasks and guarantee fair distribution of work assignments.
• Ensure that quality and productivity benchmarks are achieved and address any performance deficiencies.
• Ensure that supervisors perform timely and accurate assessments of productivity and quality.
• Document and implement client-specific policies and procedures.
• Monitor client accounts receivable and proactively tackle performance-related issues.
• Assist and resolve inquiries from both external and internal clients.
• Compile and maintain reports and logs.
• Aid in the preparation of monthly reports for clients.
• Oversee Smartfeed assignments in the MPower Workflow system and guarantee proper account allocation.
• Elevate any workflow issues to the Director, Vice President, and Customer Support.
• Review pricing agreements and escalate concerns to the director and contract management team.
• Stay updated on healthcare-related issues and regulations.
• Identify problems and collaborate with the Vice President for resolution.
• Provide training, oversight, feedback, and necessary disciplinary actions.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
• Track team attendance and leave usage.
• Disable remote client access for employees who have been terminated or transferred when necessary.
• Ensure that direct reports are trained and adhere to Information Security and HIPAA policies.
• Limit access to PHI to the minimum required and report security or HIPAA concerns to the HIPAA Officers.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in a hospital business office environment or a similar field.
• Must demonstrate reliability, responsibility, goal orientation, and flexibility.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Excellent problem-solving and innovative skills.
• Ability to apply sound judgment and make informed decisions based on timely and accurate analyses.
• High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-driven focus.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Must possess a smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes.
• Occasional travel to Med-Metrix locations and client sites is required.
• Ability to follow instructions, work collaboratively, and manage stress effectively.
• Must adhere to Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Must handle PHI with care, using, protecting, and disclosing it only in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications provided/required for multifactor authentication and security purposes.
• Occasional travel to Med-Metrix locations and client sites.
