Accounts Receivable Specialist – Unidentified Cash

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Process a significant volume of out-of-balance adjustments and refunds within designated completion timelines.

• Conduct research and communications while upholding departmental standards and quality expectations.

• Assist with inventories and report any variances of potential concern.

• Adhere to departmental standard operating procedures for all tasks.

• Manage aged accounts receivable in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.

• Execute specialized accounts receivable processing in Cash Applications, Cash Posting, and Negative Balances.

• Collaborate with leadership and partner teams to ensure precise and timely remittance processing.

• Achieve weekly and monthly production targets.

• Perform responsibilities under general supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• 1 year or more of relevant work experience in insurance, claims, explanation of benefits, cash posting, billing, or accounts receivable.

• Experience in Labcorp Revenue Cycle Management is preferred.

• Proficiency in identifying issues and trends with assigned payers.

• Capability to communicate effectively with leadership and partner teams to ensure accurate and timely remittance processing.

• Ability to independently manage time and tasks while sustaining productivity.

• Competence to meet weekly and monthly production goals.

• Adaptability to changing priorities.

• Strong communication skills.

• Intermediate skills in Excel.

• Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8am EST–5pm EST during training; flexible hours apply after training.
