This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Assist in the daily operations of third-party logistics (3PL), encompassing inbound activities, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, and returns.
• Ensure the efficient and timely movement of products for customer deliveries.
• Generate daily UnPGI orders and reports detailing prior-day sales invoicing.
• Perform weekly reviews of claims and implement corrective measures as necessary.
• Take ownership of customer-critical shipments and address any service discrepancies.
• Monitor and enforce key performance indicators (KPIs) for 3PL operations.
• Initiate and oversee quarterly performance enhancement plans as needed.
• Review and validate warehouse and transportation invoices.
• Confirm overtime and ad-hoc labor costs.
• Track expedited shipments and support budget performance evaluations.
• Conduct bi-weekly reviews of internal launch timelines and tracking systems.
• Ensure all master data management (MDM), safety data sheets (SDS), and setup components are finalized in collaboration with internal teams and the 3PL.
• Guarantee that launch orders are shipped according to schedule and manage transportation until delivery.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP) and maintain audit readiness.
• Keep licensing records up-to-date and work with quality assurance (QA) on the development and auditing of SOPs.
• Establish connectivity and implement Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) requirements for comprehensive product traceability.
• Evaluate the capabilities and limitations of the 3PL providers.
• Manage non-standard requests including inspections, rework, and repackaging.
• Communicate capacity limits and execution strategies to cross-functional teams.
• Support planning efforts, provide volume forecasts, and ensure labor plans align with demand.
• Oversee and approve overtime and additional labor as required.
• Facilitate weekly management meetings and quarterly business reviews.
• Collaborate with departments such as Customer Care, Commercial, Finance, and Operations.
• Assist in identifying root causes and driving change initiatives to improve service delivery.
• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• 3–6 years of experience in logistics, operations management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in inbound and outbound logistics.
• Familiarity with warehousing operations.
• Experience handling controlled substances.
• Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and FDA clearance processes.
• Awareness of compliance requirements including GMP, GDP, GWP, cGMP, FDA, and US Customs and Border Protection (USCBP).
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa transfer or sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Preferred candidates should reside in the Midwest United States: Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, or Tennessee.
