Malay Language Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Engage with language models in various language scenarios.

• Assess factual accuracy and logical consistency.

• Document reproducible error traces.

• Propose enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Test advanced language models on topics related to the Malay language and record any failure modes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in the Malay language, including its grammar, syntax, morphology, phonetics, semantics, and pragmatics.

• Capability to assess noun declension, verb conjugation, sentence structure, word order, syntax variations, and regional dialects.

• Skill in documenting model failure modes and capturing reproducible error traces.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills and the ability to "show your work."

• A Master’s or PhD in the Malay language, linguistics, or a closely related field is preferred.

• Experience with peer-reviewed publications, teaching, or practical linguistic analysis projects is indicative of a good fit.
