This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee a portfolio comprising around 100+ major donor prospects and existing supporters, along with 10+ institutional funders.
β’ Achieve an annual revenue target exceeding $1 million in both unrestricted and restricted funds.
β’ Create and execute tailored cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
β’ Solicit and secure major gifts while meeting annual individual and portfolio revenue objectives.
β’ Identify new major gift prospects and enhance the donor pipeline.
β’ Foster long-term donor relationships through meetings, calls, virtual visits, events, and personalized engagement.
β’ Convey RTC's organizational priorities, programs, funding opportunities, and impact to donors.
β’ Connect donors with RTC programs, projects, staff, and leadership through donor visits, project tours, and virtual experiences.
β’ Identify and pursue significant and transformational gift opportunities.
β’ Integrate planned giving opportunities into discussions with donors.
β’ Keep accurate records of donor information, strategies, proposals, and next steps in the CRM.
β’ Review portfolio performance, refine strategies, pinpoint opportunities, and forecast expected revenue with the major gifts team.
β’ Engage in and occasionally lead Trailblazer Society and other donor events.
β’ Collaborate with the Fundraising Associate on proposal materials, prospect research, donor briefings, and stewardship resources.
β’ Report directly to the Vice President of Development.
β’ A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
β’ A minimum of five years of experience in major or mid-level fundraising.
β’ Proven track record of securing five- and six-figure gifts or similar revenue-generating achievements.
β’ Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.
β’ Strong strategic thinking skills and a donor-centered fundraising approach.
β’ Willingness to travel regularly for donor meetings and events, with up to 20% domestic travel expected.
β’ Familiarity with CRM systems and donor management tools.
β’ Self-driven, organized, and adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
β’ Strong commitment to RTC's mission and values.
