Maintenance Planner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Establish and convey truck repair priorities aligned with evolving schedules and operational needs.

• Balance conflicting operational demands to enhance fleet uptime and strategic accessibility.

• Streamline base vehicle repair and maintenance scheduling alongside autonomous vehicle maintenance scheduling and upgrades.

• Manage factory recalls and service campaign initiatives across the entire fleet.

• Authorize and validate campaigns to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and vehicle safety.

• Coordinate truck relocations between manufacturers, assembly sites, up-fitters, and operational markets.

• Align transport vendors, regional hubs, and internal stakeholders effectively.

• Schedule maintenance, campaigns, recalls, and updates in relation to bay capacity, specialized tooling, and technician availability.

• Review completed Work Orders for compliance with Work Order Hygiene and Standards policy.

• Provide insights to support continuous improvement processes.

• Ensure that diagnostic logs, fault codes, sensor calibration verifications, and post-repair functional test approvals are recorded in accordance with DOT, FMCSA, and company policies.

• Collaborate with commercial, R&D, and transport vendor teams to sustain fleet uptime and operational readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in fleet management, logistics, maintenance coordination, or heavy vehicle operations.

• Familiarity with DOT and FMCSA inspection requirements is advantageous.

• Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance management systems, Work Order processes, and campaign management.

• Experience with Samsara is a plus.

• Demonstrated ability to balance competing operational demands between R&D and commercial operations.

• Excellent cross-functional communication and vendor management capabilities.
