Machine Operator III – Second Shift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Set up, operate, and shut down designated equipment following established protocols.

• Execute basic programming and preventive maintenance tasks while keeping accurate logs and documentation.

• Ensure that all products adhere to quality specifications and production timelines.

• Inform the Machine Group Leader of any quality concerns or discrepancies.

• Profile Wave equipment to attain optimal reflow performance.

• Manage and dispose of dross from both leaded and non-leaded solder in line with safety and environmental regulations.

• Maintain fixtures and conduct routine fixture upkeep.

• Replace materials in pressure pots used for conformal coating processes.

• Uphold a clean, organized, and safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and utilizing appropriate protective gear.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

• Execute conformal coating and other production-related tasks as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.

• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.

• In-depth knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards and component identification.

• Capability to follow detailed written instructions and operate hand tools.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask efficiently.

• Self-driven with a collaborative attitude and a strong work ethic.

• Readiness to operate various machines as directed by the supervisor.
