Machine Learning Researcher – Narratologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and develop machine learning systems for intricate narrative analysis.

• Enhance key NLP models quantitatively by designing and/or incorporating new models.

• Efficiently utilize cloud infrastructure for both training and deployment.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in state-of-the-art technologies for critical areas.

• Share findings internally and potentially at external conferences.

• Improve machine learning systems focusing on cost, latency, and quality optimization.

• Assist in deploying results during demonstrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced experimental background in NLP from academic or industry research.

• Over 5 years of programming experience.

• Proficient in Python and C++ (or Unreal C++).

• Inquisitive, ambitious, open-minded, and proactive attitude.

• Ability to translate high-level objectives into actionable plans, drive them forward, and take responsibility for outcomes.

• Experience in game development, particularly with Unreal Engine (preferred).

• Relevant publications in the field of narratology (preferred).

• Personal projects related to machine learning (preferred).
