AI Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Operate at the convergence of machine learning and clinical science

• Conduct research, design, and implement multimodal AI models utilizing clinical and molecular datasets

• Create and train models that incorporate pathology slides, genomic profiles, spatial omics, and longitudinal patient data

• Develop AI solutions focused on biomarker discovery, therapy outcome prediction, and Companion Diagnostics

• Ensure that AI products comply with healthcare regulatory standards and maintain quality benchmarks

• Publish original research in high-impact journals

• Engage with the global community of AI researchers

• Contribute actively as an individual contributor

⛳️ Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related quantitative discipline

• Proven expertise in developing deep learning models and conducting thorough evaluations

• Experience in computer vision and multimodal modeling is advantageous

• Previous experience in medical or healthcare AI is highly regarded but not mandatory

• Strong history of peer-reviewed publications in reputable machine learning or computer vision conferences

• Publications in medical or healthcare AI journals are preferred

• Proficient in Python and familiar with the contemporary deep learning stack, including PyTorch

• Robust coding skills for product-level model development are a significant advantage

• Comprehensive understanding of industry-standard software engineering and development methodologies
