Senior Research Scientist – AI Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform innovative and imaginative research aimed at enhancing cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

• Employ models and agents to bolster cybersecurity and safeguard models and agents.

• Contribute to research addressing emerging challenges in AI and security.

• Create tools and processes to identify or address new vulnerabilities in both traditional and AI systems.

• Share findings through peer-reviewed publications or other forms of communication with the security, machine learning, and business sectors.

• Disseminate research outcomes with teams throughout NVIDIA.

• Tackle pertinent AI security challenges across various scenarios.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Over 5 years of experience in machine learning, cybersecurity, or closely related areas.

• Demonstrated programming proficiency.

• Exceptional understanding of AI and traditional software vulnerabilities and their mitigation strategies.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Generative AI workflows.

• Self-motivated individual with a keen interest in personal development, a love for continuous learning, and a commitment to sharing discoveries.

• Driven and inquisitive about emerging technologies.

• Capability to convey complex technical information clearly.

• Strong collaborative skills with a proven track record of successful cross-functional initiatives.

• Identified CVEs or developed effective tooling.

• Familiarity with adversarial machine learning and strategies to counter adversarial methods.

• Experience with secure software development practices.

• Ability to create user-friendly resources.
