Machine Learning Engineer II – Behavioral Security Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create machine learning algorithms and models focused on behavioral analysis and cybersecurity attack detection.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to gather requirements and convert them into effective machine learning solutions.

• Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model creation, and evaluation.

• Partner with infrastructure and product engineers to deploy models and integrate new ML-driven features.

• Oversee and enhance production models through feature engineering, rule creation, and ML modeling techniques.

• Engage in code reviews to uphold the quality and maintainability of ML systems.

• Keep abreast of advancements in machine learning, data science, and artificial intelligence.

• Support the development of machine learning best practices throughout the organization.

• Set technical objectives, resolve customer issues, maintain production models, and uphold operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or a similar position in a commercial setting (3+ years).

• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistics, and predictive modeling techniques.

• Expertise in Python and machine learning libraries such as pandas and scikit-learn; familiarity with PyTorch/TensorFlow is a plus.

• Knowledge of machine learning operations (MLOps) and best practices for the productionization of ML models.

• Experience in building data pipelines and metric generation using SQL or Spark.

• Capable of conveying technical concepts in a straightforward, non-technical manner.

• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs).

• Previous involvement in cybersecurity-related tasks.

• Experience with Airflow or comparable ML pipeline orchestration tools.

• Proven experience with large-scale machine learning systems and data infrastructure.

• Background in behavioral modeling techniques.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
