Senior Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance algorithms and systems to comply with online map performance benchmarks.

• Provide cutting-edge online and offline perception and generative AI algorithms and systems for Level 4 self-driving vehicles.

• Develop reliable software for real-time, resource-limited, safety-critical applications.

• Manage features and workflows from problem identification to final delivery.

• Recognize limitations within the current online mapping system and implement enhancements.

• Facilitate alignment among internal stakeholders through effective presentations and communication.

• Foster consensus and prioritize team objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in architecting, training, and deploying deep learning models, such as transformers, diffusion, or flow models, in real-world settings.

• Demonstrated success in guiding applied research projects from initial concept through problem definition, experimentation, iteration, and eventual publication or productization.

• Background in software engineering and design of machine learning algorithms.

• Previous experience in sensor fusion and/or online mapping is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Experience with C++.

• Verification of candidate residence, U.S. person status, and/or citizenship status may be necessary.

• Must potentially meet U.S. export control and national security-related requirements.
