This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of product managers.
• Establish priorities and enhance the quality of product management throughout the organization.
• Formulate product strategy and develop roadmaps for credit decision-making and machine learning platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering and machine learning leaders on model creation, version control, deployment, forecasting, experimentation, and monitoring.
• Advance underwriting and decision-making systems to integrate customer data, model outputs, and business results.
• Identify machine learning prospects, validate them through targeted MVPs, and create scalable products.
• Develop scalable processes for assessing, onboarding, and integrating data vendors and machine learning capabilities.
• Balance immediate execution with long-term platform investments while considering impact, risk, complexity, and speed.
• Foster cross-team collaboration and weave machine learning into the product strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in product management, particularly with technical or platform products.
• Proven experience in managing and nurturing product managers, preferably across multiple interrelated teams.
• Strong technical aptitude and experience collaborating with engineering, machine learning, and data science teams.
• Capability to establish strategy, navigate through ambiguity, and achieve results in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to link technical and product decisions to business outcomes, especially in the fields of credit, lending, or financial services.
• Demonstrated success in building robust teams and enhancing product management quality.
• Availability aligned with East/West coast time zones.
• Experience as a data scientist, machine learning engineer, or in another machine learning individual contributor role (preferred).
• Familiarity with model lifecycle management, decisioning systems, experimentation, optimization, or real-time inference platforms (preferred).
• Experience in constructing or scaling online financial products, particularly in consumer lending or credit (preferred).
