M&A Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement acquisition strategies as the organization expands its national presence in emergency medicine practices.

• Develop and sustain financial models to assess potential acquisition opportunities.

• Assist in due diligence efforts by collaborating with internal teams and external advisors.

• Create investment memoranda, presentations for the board, and materials for private equity investment committees.

• Aid in identifying and evaluating acquisition targets through market analysis and research on physician groups.

• Evaluate the financials of target companies, focusing on EBITDA normalization, working capital, and quality-of-earnings assessments.

• Oversee the M&A pipeline, deal tracking, and associated reporting.

• Perform industry and competitive analysis in the fields of emergency medicine, urgent care, and related healthcare services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.

• 1–4 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate development, or private equity; experience in healthcare services is highly preferred.

• Proficient in Excel and financial modeling techniques.

• Skilled in PowerPoint for developing presentations.

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic, deal-oriented environment.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Knowledge of healthcare services regulatory and reimbursement factors is advantageous but not mandatory.
