Low Code Engineer – OutSystems, Mendix

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Develop and utilize design documentation, functional programming specifications, and high-level design documents for implementing designated components.

• Ensure that implemented components are well-documented, unit tested, and prepared for integration into the final product.

• Present and demonstrate the features of the implemented product during playback sessions as necessary.

• Address defects identified during both pre-production and post-production phases of the software development life cycle.

• Provide time estimates for assigned development tasks.

• Guide and clarify features, functional objectives, or technologies being developed to interested stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.

• Actively engage in agile ceremonies and lead review sessions with stakeholders.

• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure application quality and reliability.

• Maintain and support the CI/CD pipeline for smooth code promotion and deployment.

• Work closely with QA teams to validate functionality, performance, and security measures.

• Oversee the application codebase, including OutSystems platform components and custom integrations.

• Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve critical issues across all technology layers.

• Monitor and optimize application performance across the entire stack.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in application development using OutSystems, with a preference for candidates holding OutSystems certifications.

• Strong proficiency in OutSystems platform features, such as visual modeling, logic flows, data modeling, and user interface design.

• Full-stack development skills, including Front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).

• Back-end development experience with Python, C#, Java, or Node.js.

• Familiarity with AWS Services including Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, and other relevant services for enterprise application deployment.

• Solid understanding of SQL and database design principles.

• Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and API integration patterns.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline, and automated testing methodologies.

• Awareness of application security best practices and authentication mechanisms.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities for effective cross-functional collaboration.

• Familiarity with agile methodology tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and GITLAB.
